Slides Animator: Automates tedious animation tasks in Slides
Slides Animator is a free Chrome extension developed by Sriram Sami. It falls under the category of Browsers and is specifically classified as an Add-ons & Tools subcategory. This extension aims to automate animation-related tasks in Google Slides, making it easier and faster to add and delete animations.
Using animations in Slides can be a tedious process, with no default way to change the animation style and delay. Additionally, there are ergonomic issues when it comes to adding, deleting, and modifying animations. Slides Animator addresses these pain points by allowing users to simulate browser clicks, drags, and other actions to automate animation tasks.
With Slides Animator, you can easily add your preferred animation using a single key combination, such as Alt+A. You can also delete the last animation in the list or the last animation for a selected element using Alt+Shift+D or Alt+Shift+R, respectively. The extension also supports hotkeyed custom animations and animating by-paragraph if needed. Furthermore, users can choose which animation start condition should be applied, such as on-click, with previous, or after previous.
Please note that Slides Animator is currently in an early beta release and may have some bugs. The developer created it to address a personal pain point and it may not work if the Slides UI is updated. However, it currently serves as the only solution for automating animations in Google Slides.
